Yeah, we were pretty bummed that Nintendo’s super-hot black Wii wasn’t coming to the US, but fear not, fanboys — it looks like the stealth console has hit the gray-market import scene. Sure, you’ll have to pay a bit of a premium at $333, but surely that’s a reasonable price for exclusivity, no?

Almost two years ago, Ubisoft dropped a virtual guitar simulator on the DS, titled “Jam Sessions” — and that’s just great, if you picked up the six-stringed instrument during your collegiate career in an attempt to woo Damien Rice-obsessed co-eds. Some of us, however, prefer the ivories. And by “prefer”, we mean “we were forced to spend our childhood summers hunched over a beaten-up Steinway, pursuing our parents’ feverish artistic dreams as our peers actually enjoyed their lives.”
Fortunately for us, a Namco Bandai press release just revealed a Jam Sessions-esque title for the DS titled — what else — Easy Piano. The game comes with the keyboard peripheral you see above, so we hope interested parties have held onto their GBA slot-equipped DS Lites. With a lesson mode, a play-along mode and even a song creaion mode, it sounds like a neat offering for piano enthusiasts. We won’t be sure until we try out that tiny, tiny keyboard, though.

LucasArts announced Ultimate Sith Edition at today’s Star Wars Spectacular pane
The new content will have players once again assuming the role of the Secret Apprentice from The Force Unleashed, now serving the Emperor and tasked with eliminating the few remaining Jedi—Obi-Wan and Skywalker, for example—altering the established Star Wars story line further. The DLC’s trailer posed the question “What if the dark side won?”
LucasArts will also release Star Wars The Force Unleashed: Ultimate Sith Edition during the Holiday 2009 season, a special edition of the game for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 featuring the original title and the already available downloadable content, plus an exclusive level on Hoth, where the confrontation between Starkiller and Skywalker takes place.
The publisher also has plans for PC and Mac versions of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed planned for later this year.

We’ve come into possession of a draft screenplay for the Gears of War movie. If you’d like to remain spoiler-free, move right along. If, however, you’d like to see what we think of it, read on!
While the movie will be based on a script by Chris Morgan, it appears that Stuart Beattie – who worked on the Pirates films, as well as the in-limbo Halo flick – penned a draft as well.

Sometimes, a developer or publisher chooses not to release a game on the PS3 for manpower or technical reasons (see: Valve). Other times, though – as is the case with Splinter Cell: Conviction – it’s just down to money.
