In the epic story of Fable III, the journey to rule the throne of Albion begins five decades after the events of the last chapter, and you play as the child of your hero from Fable II. As you rule your kingdom as king or queen, you will be called upon to make choices and sacrifices that will test your morality and can affect your entire kingdom. Just over two years after BioWare’s original space-RPG epic hit the Xbox 360, its much-anticipated sequel has finally arrived. A much darker, more serious affair than the first title, Mass Effect 2 is a western-RPG with so many paths through the game, you’ll need a walkthrough just to comprehend it all. And that’s where we come in. Our gigantic walkthrough is rounded out by a robust basics section, coverage on all side quests, and even the game’s entire codex, for all of you nerds out there.
It’s time to save the galaxy!… again.

BioShock 2 is a survival horror first-person shooter video game, being developed by 2K for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 video game consoles. It is the sequel to the critically-acclaimed 2007 video game BioShock. The game is scheduled for simultaneous release on February 9, 2010 for all platforms.
The game is set in fictional dystopian city Rapture in alternative history 1970, a decade after the events of BioShock. The protagonist and player-controlled character is a Big Daddy, a being who has had its organs and skin grafted into an atmospheric diving suit. When it becomes obvious that Rapture’s leader Sofia Lamb will become responsible for the city’s destruction, the Big Daddy attempts to overthrow Lamb and her army of Big Sisters.

We get the feeling someone at BioWare has proclaimed this “Epic Week,” what with the release of its fantasy RPG stunner Dragon Age: Origins and now an epic new video from its next big game, Mass Effect 2. This isn’t a trailer or developer diary — you’re in for nine minutes of unedited, uninterrupted gameplay footage from the most recent build of ME2. In fact, it’s the same mission — set inside Omega’s “Inferno” nightclub — that we ourselves got to play earlier this week. (And yes, we can confirm it looks that good.)
You’ll get a sense of the sequel’s leap in environmental detail, character modeling and dialog scene camerawork in this clip, along with loads of intense combat. There’s even an appearance by returning character (and total badass) Garrus from the first Mass Effect, plus a joke that manages to poke fun at rumors of Commander Shepard’s death and the fact players can make him/her look like anyone they choose. Again — nine minutes.
What starts off as two guys talking smack ends badly for one guy who wrecks his garage. Ask yourself why the hell there is so much crap in this guys garage anyway. How is he supposed to fit his car in their.
Byron the Intern at ScrewAttack.com lists the top 10 best and worst power ups of all time. “Whether its giving you super human ability or powering up a gun they make games soo much fun to play.”

This game absolutely blew my expectations away. Part shooter and part MMO-RPG this game is fun and super addicting, a very dangerous combination. For 2 days straight I couldn’t put it down. When my 4 man party beat the game nobody even signed off, we just said ok you guys ready for round 2? Yup. Similar to games like Diablo, Borderlands gets even harder after each time you beat the game and you get to keep your characters for the next playthrough. This game is s definite MUST BUY.

Michael Pachter, the internet’s favorite gaming soothsayer, turned up on GameTrailer’s Bonus Round once again this week. What did the Wedbush Morgan analyst see in his crystal ball this time around? Not only did he declare that Microsoft has given up on PC gaming, but he also predicted that the price of Xbox Live Gold subscriptions will be going up sometime in the near future.
“It’s a profit deal,” Pachter claimed, responding to a fan question about the dearth of ports from Xbox 360 to PC. “Microsoft wants you to never play a game again on your PC and play everything on your 360,” he went on to suggest, adding, “You give a PC gamer an incentive to buy a 360 if you put something that he really wants only on the 360.”
But why would Microsoft want to lure customers away from one of their own platforms?
“You can’t hook a guy into Xbox Live Gold if he’s playing on PC. So, I mean, that’s the other problem is you really wanna hook every gamer who has a 360, you want them to buy all their games on 360, play everything multiplayer, pay you 50 bucks a year so that in a couple years, it’s 100 bucks a year. And that’s going up — we all know that.”
It might sound crazy to actually raise the price of Xbox Live, especially when neither of Microsoft’s competitors are currently charging for online play. Then again, Microsoft has attempted to add value to Gold memberships for years now by piling on exclusive features like Netflix streaming and, any day now, Facebook integration — perhaps in anticipation of a price hike further down the line?

Pato Pooh recently released a music video for his song “Follow Me.” It features a regular who’s who of 8- and 16-bit era gaming in the process, referencing everything from Mega Man’s opening to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I’m can’t actually understand anything he is rapping ‘about’ but I have to say this is the BEST rap music video that I’ve seen in a long long time.
Here is a more in depth preview of the Last.FM radio station that will be free to all Xbox Live gold members coming this November.
Coming this November Xbox live will be getting access to social networking sites Twitter and Facebook. Now you won’t have to get off the couch to announce to people that you just got done playing Xbox.
Unlike Twitter the Facebook app will require downloading but only a few megabytes of HD space. You’ll be able to browse photos and see which of your friends are on Xbox live. The new Zune video marketplace will feature full 1080p HD streaming and you can both rent and buy lots of movies and TB shows.
Also there will be a free video section that will include MSNBC news shorts, and Dilbert. Finally Xbox 360 is getting a free internet radio app called last.fm. The program will sync with your last.fm subscription on their website.
Overall I’m very excited for the update, finally I’ll be able to have free streaming music with sideshows on my big screen via the Xbox 360.
